The recent EUREKA programme CATRENE (Cluster for Application and Technology Research in Europe on NanoElectronics), built on the previous programme MEDEA+, announce the first call for project proposal.

This first call will open from February 29, 2008 and close on April 23, 2008. Based on a diligent evaluation and project selection process, project labelling is foreseen as of or planned for September 30, 2008.

Morfeo will collaborate with the II GUADEMY that will be held in Valencia from 25 to 27 April 2008.

This second meeting, which has the GPUL, GNOME and KDE participation, is held with a pragmatic approach, working groups and discussion forums which will let developers debate and take decisions on the convergence of the main subsystems of KDE and GNOME desktops.
