Hola a todos,
Como ya sabreis, la Comunidad Morfeo viene desarrollando durante el último año un conjunto de certificados en aspectos relacionados con el desarrollo de software libre[1][2]. A fin de crear un sello fuerte que respalde la calidad, estamos llevando a cabo una campaña para la acreditación de los miembros de la Comunidad Morfeo, es decir, todos aquellos que participan en un proyecto dentro de la comunidad. Este sello, emitido en estos momentos por ESI (European Software Institute), es oficial y está alineado con el que en el futuro emitirá CENATIC, por lo que resulta importante que todos los miembros de la comunidad lo obtengan.
Dado que los miembros de la Comunidad Morfeo cuentan con experiencia contrastada en software libre, se ha definido un procedimiento Express que facilite la acreditación de los mismos. Este consiste en formación e-Learning, de convocatoria abierta, que permitirá marcaros vuestro propio ritmo, haciendo hincapié en aquellos puntos que consideréis más necesarios y repasando más rápidamente aquellos que, por vuestra actividad en el proyecto, ya tengáis asimilados. Por si tenéis alguna duda, todos esto es completamente gratis.
Es importante que tanto el equipo técnico, como beta tester y personal en general realicen los cursos. El conjunto mÃnimo de cursos que se han propuesto es[3]:

Un último aviso: Este procedimiento es solo para aquellos con experiencia verificada en OSS y las tecnologÃas de ezWeb y MyMobileWeb. Si estáis interesados en formar a neófitos en OSS, avisadnos.
IMPORTANTE: por tratarse de un programa de formación oficial, una vez completados los cursos, para emitir la acreditación necesitamos la cabecera de la nómina. Solo la cabecera.

Next Thursday and Friday, March 25th and 26th Morfeo is going to meet with SMEs at Albacete and Ciudad Real, respectively. During this session, organized jointly with CESLCAM, it will be presented some interesting results:

CoNWeT Lab – UPM
Organization
Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is the oldest and largest technical university in Spain. UPM, as a top quality academic establishment, has a strong commitment to R&D and Innovation. It boasts over 200 Research Units and several Research Institutes and Technological Centres and contributes significantly to the international scientific community with a high number of journal papers, conference communications, and PhD theses. The UPM researchers have a large expertise in participation in research projects at national and international level.
Being part of the UPM’s Information and Communications Technology Research Group (ICT-CETTICO), the Computer Networks and Web Technologies Lab (CoNWeT Lab.) is one of the founder members of the MORFEO Open Source Community, being one of its Advisory Board permanent members. CoNWeT is also co-founder of the Spanish QualiPSo Open Source Competence Centre.
CoNWeT focuses on the application of Agent, Web 2.0 and Semantic Web technologies to Web-based systems and services, integrated network management, and ubiquitous and mobile computing environments. CoNWeT gathered substantiated expertise as a partner in several successfully completed and ongoing projects, such as FAST FP7, Eureka-Celtic’s MyMobileWeb or EzWeb, a NESSI strategic project. CoNWeT will bring experience in Service Oriented Architectures, enterprise mashups, semantic Web technologies and context-aware adaptation for mobile Web.

Francisco Javier Soriano Camino is Associate Professor of Computer Science with a focus on Computer Networks and Internet/Web technologies. He leads the Computer Networks and Web Technologies Lab (CoNWeT Lab) at the UPM School of Computer Science, where he is in charge of a number of relevant European research projects dealing with services, including FP7 FAST project, NESSI’s Strategic Project EzWeb and Eureka CELTIC flagship project MyMobileWeb. He takes part in the European Technology Platform NESSI and its Spanish counterpart, INES. He is also involved in the Future Internet Assembly as the UPM representative for FAST, as well as in the work being done by the Service Front-End Collaboration Working Group (EC FP7).

Taking over the coordination of different UPM’s Research Groups to successfully develop multidisciplinary and integrated R&D projects.
Fostering the dissemination of research findings by taking part of international conferences, editing and writing scientific papers, articles and books.
Collaboration
The CoNWeT Lab. is interested in collaborate on those projects aligned with its research area, both on public R&D (Spanish R&D and Innovation programme, EC Framework Programme…) and on demand projects.
