As part of the Morfeo Community administration tasks, we are currently working to update some of the services offered by Morfeo.
Particularly, we have just started the process to update the WordPress release used in the Community blogs, modifying also the Morfeo template. During the following days you will see each Community blog is updated; each blog admin will be notified before performing any change.

The Reference Center for the Excellence in Open Environment (CREA in its Spanish acronym), which is an initiative of FORMAN, consortium-school of the Employment Counsel of the Junta de Andalucia (Andalusia local government), becomes member of Morfeo Project releasing a GNU/Linux Administration course for moodle. This course is now part of the set of 15 courses currently available within the community. They can be found at http://aula.morfeo-project.org.
This initiative is part of the activities of Morfeo Formacion and CREA and it is looking for the definition of training network where all the material will be under open licenses. This will make easier their improvement and reuse, and even the definition of professional services of training.
This is a first strep but from now on both CREA and Morfeo Project will collaborate closely to foster synergies between them. More precisely it will foster similar action in other organization.
Morfeo Karma gathers and presents the use statistics of each project hosted on Morfeo since 26th March 2009 until today.
The detailed activity of any project is seen at just a glimpse, its commits, download of new releases, total downloads, posts, new wikis, new documents, new releases, the number of mails sent and finally its Karma factor.
The Karma factor is a numeric value assigned to every project. It is based on a bunch of mathematical operations applied over the stat values.
The Karma factor of each project is calculated as follows.
A+B+C+B+D+E+F+G+H divided by 10, where each letter stands for:
A) Log(Posts)*40
B) (Log(Mails)^2)*110
C) (Log(Wikis)^2)*100
D) (Log(Downloads)^2)*100
E) (Log(Commits)^2)*150
F) Log(Releases)*10
G) Log(New Documents)*40
H) Based on the number of total downloads of all releases against the number of downloads of new releases, we apply the following. if the downloads of new releases amount to:
H.1) More than the 10% of the total downloads: (Log(TotalDownloads-Downloads)^2)*100
H.2) Less than 10%: (Log(DescargasTotales-Descargas)^2)*10
H.3) Same amount: Total of downloads are not taken into account at all.
H.4) If there are no downloads of new releases but the are a number of total downloads: (Log(TotalDownloads-Downloads)^2)*50
By the use of the logarithm the biggest amount of Karma is assigned to those projects whose stats represent a reasonable activity, avoiding assigning the highest Karma factor to the project whose activity is unusually high in any of the stats.
The Nuxeo Mobile project has been released, blog [1], wiki [2] and forge [3]

Ya está disponible la versión 2.0 de forja Vulcano. Esta versión incorpora nuevas funcionalidades con respecto a la versión interior, como Trac, herramienta para encuestas, estadÃsticas de código, integración de Gforge y Savannah, etc. Además, tenemos una interfaz mejorada y un nuevo sistema de autenticación.
Si quieres instalarla, puedes hacerlo usando el paquete debian que te ofrecemos. Pero si quieres empezar a usarla, Morfeo te ofrece una instalación pública de la forja Vulcano.
