In 10th and 1th of June next the MORFEO Community is to organize a meeting in Cataluña to publicize the community and show its vision of open source software.

Los días 8 y 9 de Mayo se celebró la fase final del II Concurso Universitario de Software Libre. Este año, la comunidad MORFEO ha colaborado de forma activa concediendo el premio “Comunidad Morfeo”, con una cuantía de 6000€, al proyecto que ha recibido mejores críticas. Asimismo, la comunidad ha participado realizando una ponencia en las jornadas celebradas durante la fase final del concurso y ha formado parte del comité evaluador por medio de Andrés Leonardo Martínez.

These are some of the images of the 1st Morfeo Meeting which took place the 28th of February, 2008. Thanks to Miguel Jiménez (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) for this contribution.

The Annual Forum of the Information Society of Murcia (SICARM 2008) is a technology event aimed at both analyzing and testing new technologies as well as launching the latest Computer and Telecommunication news.

SICARM will hold the 6th Telecoforum from 21th to 25th April. The aim of this event is to bring the Telecommunication Engineer closer to the TIC sector and stablish new ways of collaboration between the collaborating companies and the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena Research Groups.

Morfeo will collaborate actively in this event announcing its notable projects and initiatives.

The ITC/464/2008 ORDER of February 20th, which controls the grounds, grant system and the management of the “Acción Estratégica de Telecomunicaciones y Sociedad de la Información” section of the National Plan of Scientific Investigation, was published in the BOE (Official Spanish Government Bulletin).
