El próximo dÃa 28 de Abril se celebra en la Escuela de IngenierÃa Informática de Albacete el DÃa del Software Libre dentro de las actividades organizadas para la Semana Cultural del Campus Universitario de Albacete.
Esta jornada ha sido organizada por el Centro de Excelencia de Software Libre de Castilla-La Mancha y la Delegación de Alumnos de la Escuela informática.
Entre la agenda de la jornada se contará con el grupo LibreSoft que hablará sobre el proyecto LibreGeoSocial e impartira un taller de programación para Android.

Tomorrow April 20th, Morfeo Competence Centre presents a special session of OSS training for SME’s. In the session, hosted by AIMME, four fundamental courses about OSS are going to be presented by Andrés-Leonardo MartÃnez-Ortiz. For each of them, SME’s can solve their questions about the online training and to discuss how to apply these experiences on daily SME’s activities.
The course, availables at Morfeo online Aula, are:
- Introduction to OSS, covering licenses, collaborative development and the main characters of OSS movements.
- Migration to OSS technologies: copyright issues, applications and where to find them (forges, repositories, etc..), migration planning and success cases.
- A GNU/Linux Desktop – MOLINUX: covering installation (including specific installation modes as CDLive, virtual machine), using and mastering this GNU/Linux distribution.
- OSS Development Model: covering forges, communication tools, agile development, software version control, ticketing and communities management.
If you want to participate, come with your laptop. The following is the agenda of the session:

The Isabel application is a group real time collaboration tool for the Internet, supporting advanced collaborative videoconferencing, application sharing and TV like media integration. Isabel sessions can be accessed with Linux clients or with Web clients in order to allow offering Videoconferencing as a Service (VaaS), such that conferencing on the cloud services can be offered with Isabel.
The webcast will show the new features of Isabel V5. This new version has been released under Affero GPL in Morfeo Community. (Isabel in Morfeo)
In addition, it will be presented the VCC (virtual conference centre), a website where Isabel will be offered as a service.
