Community contributions shall be regulated by an agreement between Morfeo and the organization in question. While each project shall be entitled to use its own agreement, the agreement that Morfeo recommends is as follows.

For the purpose of formalizing the joint assignment of copyright in all the contributions that the developer makes to the [[Project]] project by the developer to the [[Organization]], the developer should submit this duly signed agreement to the [[Organization]]. In doing so, the collaborator is specifying that he and she agrees to and accepts each and every one of the provisions hereof.

- The collaborator hereby states that he or she is the owner of the rights required to contribute any material delivered to the [[Project]] project subject to acceptance of this agreement by [[Organization]] under the conditions specified herein for compilation and integration into the technology that [[Organization]] has freed through the MORFEO project.
- The collaborator hereby assigns joint ownership with the actual collaborator of the contribution to [[Organization]]
- The collaborator retains all rights over the contribution he or she makes, except that neither the collaborator nor the [[Organization]] is entitled to unilaterally make any changes affecting the other joint copyright owner to the selected open source licence. Specifically, they shall not be entitled to make any amendments concerning section 2 hereof.
- The contributor assures that by submitting this contribution and assigning joint copyright of the material donated to the MORFEO project to the [[Organization]], he or she is not infringing any applicable law or agreement binding the collaborator and third parties.
- This joint copyright assignment agreement supersedes and invalidates any earlier agreement of the same description between the contributor and [[Organization]].
- This agreement shall apply to all the collaborator’s contributions unless it is cancelled or modified in writing by either party or another copyright assignment agreement is subscribed.
